Sea level variability.   Trends, extremes. Data validation, analysis, prediction & estimation; software development & implementation; internal & external communications; advice; reports; papers.

UK National Tide Gauge Network.   Member of a team developing interrogation and processing hardware and software for a new Electronic Data Logging and Control System.

POL Applications.   Commissioned projects; data analysis; reports; internal & external communications/advice.

Research interests
High quality sea level measurement.   Example: Modernisation of the UK National Tide Gauge Network.

Tidal analysis and prediction.   Example: Improving accuracy of tidal predictions in complex shallow water regimes.

Extreme sea levels and currents.   Example: Improving extreme still water return period estimation methods for MAFF, Environment Agencie and consultant engineers.
